Emergency Service
In New Zealand our emergency service number is 111 = to the widely know american emergency services number 911.
Well in an interesting turn of events I came home tonight to be advised that we received a call from the emergency services this evening advising us that we are to keep the phone away from the kids. Apparantly Danika and Makayla have both been dialing 111 accidentally when they get their hands on one of the cordless phones.
So advise to others out there, keep those phones high and out of reach and allow them to play with toy phones. You can pick up demo cell phones from the likes of telecom or vodafone retail outlets that kids can play with to their hearts content.

Well the best thing to do is to try and teach them when to use 111.... She may well have to dial it one day for an emergancy.
