Danny Lee is not only New Zealands number 1 ametuer golfer but also the world number 1 ametuer. This is a staggering statistic for a kiwi, excluding the fact that he was born in korean, like K J Choi. He also played in what I understand to be his first PGA tournament over the weekend and did exceptionally well in his first time out. I was watching his performance at the NZ Open late last year and seems he's improved dramatically over the following months. He plans to continue as an ametuer at this stage entering into the American Ametuer tournament with high hopes of winning that. If he does he'll get a free invite card the the US Marsters at Augusta National next year. The Marsters this year was won by South African Trevor Immelmann whom Danny would tee off with should he win the US Ametuers, GOOD LUCK DANNY BOY.
