V for Vendetta
I went to see this movie and review as follows...
It lacked a certain zing and pizzaz but captured the ideal of man which was the surrounding point to the entire plot as it had too as its a very thin plot based on an all too familiar story line.
No new attitudes were brought to the cinematic overture of the film but the opening operatic sequence I could but laugh at its brillient theatrical display. The meet between V & Evy is rather poetic whilst maintaining a poise of dramatic yet delicate insanity. Possibly the high lights of the movie where I put Hugo Weavings performance is V as an artistic display of beautiful theatrical acting. The use of dialogue is beautiful where delivered with passion unlike the drone drull voice of Agent Smith whom he portrayed in the Matrix trilogy.
I was captivated by each word and its delivery more so than the action sequences and would imagine that others will agree that's its more about the delivery than the story itself if one can immerse themselves in the 'ideal' of guy fawkes and know the history of November 5th
