Kiwi's are proud of their heritage in the field of innovation from the America's Cup down to the little man such as Ken Jones who when setting up his Norht Otago TV station he thought why spend $20,000 for a commercial linked statellite dish when a $10 modified kitchen wok purchased from the Warehouse is just as effective. This was done to keep costs down, and in my books it doesn't get much better a cost saver than that.
