On lastnights tv3 news, Auckland city mayor noted that there is a new parking initiative for drivers of hybrid cars where preferential parking will be made available to those drivers. Mayor Dick Hubbard a hrbrid driver himself has taken the first council move for environmental changes with the hope that other city councils will follow suit.
