Back on the Throttle

Well after a long time of having an serious virus on my computer I'm back in full force and back on the net.

Well lots has happend but the biggest one is Brockhurst.
Bathurst I am sad to say was won this year by Ford Followed closely by Rick Kelly in Holden. As a viewing spectator from the seat of my living room couch it was rather disappointing seeing Mark Skaife slip his clutch off the mark and be taken out by Perkins within 30 seconds after he took pole position. Perkins who is the son of Larry Perkins was in his first bathurst race which came to an abrupt end bringing out the safety car before the first lap was even half complete. There was a total of 9 sdafety cars putting about 30 laps down to that and drawing the length of the race an extra hour or so. The most surprising part was the fact that in past years Holdens were usually driven off the road by Ford's lousy driving yet this year they did it all unto themselves making it rather dissappointing viewing which left it wide open to Ford to take the win with all of Holdens hopes put on the Kelly Brothers.

Jennifer's Wedding

On labour weekend I travelled to Hamilton to attend my friend Jennifer's Wedding at Hamilton gardens. I first met Jen on our first day at Pacific Retail Finance (now rebranded as GE Money) just over a year ago now during our 2 week orientation.

She met her husband Aaron on labour weekend and it seemed perfect for her to propose to him that following labour weekend while skydiving which meant it was only fitting that they also get married labour weekend as well.
It was a lovely wedding I must say and the weather held out long enough for it to be a beautiful occasion. Jen looked stunning in her wedding gown which was reflected by the sunlight and stood out against the lush green grass.

Several people from work were there to celebrate the joining of Jennifer and Aaron on their magical day. The function was held at the Cambridge Town Hall where we all got to mix n mingle with the bride and groom and their family and friends.
